"Gear pump oil leakage", that is, the hydraulic oil breaks through the skeleton oil seal and overflows. This phenomenon is widespread and strongly reflected in OEMs. The oil leakage of the gear pump seriously affects the normal operation of the loader, the reliability of the gear pump and the environmental pollution. In order to solve this problem, the reasons and control methods for oil leakage of gear pump oil seals are analyzed.
1. The influence of parts manufacturing quality
(1) Oil seal quality. If the geometry of the oil seal lip is unqualified, the tightening spring is too loose, etc. Causes air leakage in the air tightness test, and oil blow-by after the gear pump is installed in the main engine. At this point, replace the oil seal and check the material and geometry.
(2) Processing and assembly of gear pumps. If there is a problem in the process of processing and assembling the gear pump, causing the gear shaft to rotate and the stopper of the front cover to be misaligned, it will cause the eccentric wear of the oil seal. Check the symmetry and displacement of the front cover bearing hole and the pin hole, and the coaxiality of the frame oil seal and the bearing hole.
(3) The material and processing quality of the sealing ring. If there is a problem, the sealing ring of the loader will be cracked and scratched, the secondary seal will be loose or even fail, the pressure oil will enter the skeleton oil seal (low pressure channel), and the oil seal will escape. At this time, check the sealing ring material and processing quality.
2. Influence of gear pump and main engine installation quality
The coaxiality of gear pump and main engine should be less than 0.05. Generally, the loader is installed in the variable speed pump, and the variable speed pump is installed in the gearbox. If the end face of the gearbox or variable speed pump is out of the tolerance range relative to the middle of the rotation of the spline shaft, a cumulative error will be formed, causing the gear pump to be subjected to radial force during high-speed rotation, resulting in oil leakage from the oil seal.
